Air-assist molding is to induce high-pressure nitrogen gas into part of the moldings during the injection process. This gas is injected through hallow gas inductor or mechanical jet immediately after the solvent. Air-assist molding can save plastic material, reduce heat loss, shorten injection tube replacement time, and hence shorten production cycle. The plastic product has less stress in the molding, more production volume, higher quality, and prevent shrinking and wrinkles. |
